You are warmly invited to my solo exhibition at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art.
This will be the largest solo show of my career, held alongside the works of 96-year-old Yayoi Kusama
The Sentimental Beauty of Living Beings.
These paintings are born from mindful moments seen with the eyes, felt with the heart, and held in quiet awareness.
They are the emotions that once flickered silently beneath the surface, now laid down on canvas, stroke by #mindful stroke, breath by breath.
This piece, Phoenix in Flight, is not merely a painting of a mythical bird – it speaks of a kind of person:
one who, though wounded, still chooses not to give up on soaring.
It is a testament to resilience born of awareness, to the strength found in gentle presence.
This work is the most passionate expression of my inner life and experience-a quiet confession,an unfolding of wings in the language of art, offered to those who still choose to rise from the dust, one breath at a time.
If we are fortunate, perhaps we will meet in the silence before a painting,
recognizing in its stillness a feeling we’ve never spoken aloud
like afternoon sunlight resting on an old letter: silent, yet warm, like a moment of mindfulness held between us.
